Q: Why do you recommend a 14kW, not a 10kW generator?
A: The 14kW generator has a V Twin cylinder engine with hydraulic lifters, which is more like an automobile engine, compared to the 10kW which is single cylinder with mechanical lifters. The 14kW starts easier in extreme weather and is, in our opinion, a much better quality generator. The 10kW engine requires additional maintenance to make sure valves stay in adjustment. We feel the 10kW is more appropriate for a prescribed load – picking individual circuits as opposed to a whole house transfer.
Q: Can you service my generator, heat pump, or furnace?
A: At this time, we service and do warranty work only on equipment that we installed.
Q: Do you provide a propane tank?
A: Yes, we can provide and install propane tanks. Owning your own propane tanks means you can shop around for the best fuel price.
